I will probably be arrested by the time I'm done here just for being myself.

Well I'm here in Salzburg and let me tell you its just great. Last night I went to this party in the square hosted by Red Bull because the Salzburg Football team won the big championship, and their mascot is the red bull. Anyway, it was great lots of drunk people screaming, kind of like if Fisher Players had its own city and soccer team. I got intoxicated fairly quickly as I hadn't really eaten anything all day and then I had some delicious pasta and let out a "we are wiiiiiine bottles" for good measure in the street which was probably inappropriate, as my other drunken friend duck and covered because there is a noise rule in the country of Austria.
Speaking of all things inappropriate and Austria, (I am now on my soapbox so be prepared) I am glad I will only be here for a few weeks, not that I don't love it- I DO- but I was reading something today about conduct and I just feel like there is a pax on Amanda Hackett in this country.
I've already expressed my disappointment about the noise after 10 rule- not that I really care, not that I plan on yelling in the street, but the fact that you can't sing Heatwave at 11:12 if you feel like it just makes me sad. They don't call me the mouth for nothing.
ALSO I was reading our manual today and theres this whole thing about how "even though there is a feminisit movement currently in the United States, striving for equality of women. Austria is not that far along, women play a different role in society. Keep this in mind during your time here. "
.
What?
Ok, I'm not an idiot. And I was completely aware that Austria is not exactly like the US with a hint of Sound of Music. However, I didn't think it was going to be that much of an issue. And hopefully its not.
I also think its funny that they say there is currently a feminist movement in the US striving for equality, as I feel the feminist movement was more in heat when...there were actually issues and instead of striving I feel most women are pretty much equal but thatst just me.
I think my last day here I'm going to just scream all night in the streets while holding a woman's equality sign.

YES! Now that you have a slight annoyance towards Austria... Hail a taxi cab for me...just... just do it- like nike. yeah.

Also.. don't get arrested, you are too far away for me to come bail you out of jail. Do the cops in Austria carry guns?
