Blog? Why not!

In the times of the iPhone and the GPS and all those flibbity jibbits it just seems ridiculous for me NOT to have a blog. I mean come on. I've got sass. I've got things to say. Why not blog? Hell, Diablo Cody got an Oscar out of something that resulted from her successful blogging. So I figure I should have, you know, a Nobel Peace Prize or something by 2015- all thanks to my blog. And my E! True Hollywood Story will be that I just started out as a college student who probably should have been doing something else but instead she chose to blog and now she's A HIT!
So anyways, now that I've declared I'm going to be famous, I'm going to share my thoughts on a few subjects, in absolutely no order of importance.
First order of business: Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist. I saw this movie yesterday, and it was fanfreakintastic. It reminded me a little bit of Juno, and not because it involved Michael Cera, Awkward Boy Wonder. Only in the fact that it was honest humor. The comedy in both these movies involves things that I thought were so real, this is how my friends and I talk. Not some type of movie humor where you're like "hey this is actually not how people behave." Other than that it did not remind me of anything- WHICH IS WHY I LOVE IT. I hate comparing movies. Go original or go home.
Ok movies- check. Music- lets talk about the band The Boy Least Likely To. I think they're great. I heard one of their first songs "Be Gentle With Me" and I thought it was tre catchy. Even the xylophone in the beginning just makes your mood better. Now I'm on to another favorite, "Hugging My Grudge" which starts off with about four measures of acoustic guitar and you think its going to be one of those emo WHY CAN'T YOU COME BACK TO MEEEE songs and then a little melody comes in and saves the day! And suddenly you've gone from emo in my room to driving into a sunset in 1.4 seconds. The title alone "Hugging My Grudge" sounds frightening, but I think thats whats so unique about this band. Their listed as alternative and you hear about them and you think they've got some rough things to say, and then you listen and you just feel like everythings going to be ok. I look forward to hearing more of their sound in the future, and you should go investigate them RIGHT NOW! Well not right now, finish reading this and tell all your friends about it. Then go.

The last thing I am going to talk about today is this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=olpCyDA4kYA

This is a video about voting. And it's celebrity endorsed, ,so bonus. But I think this is fantastic because although I don't think it will really make a ton of people register to vote, I think it might influence people to recognize how important voting is. PEOPLE NEED TO TAKE A STAND THIS IS A BIG DEAL. And we are certainly in a place that needs a few ideas as to an exit strategy. I think we all know what items I may or may not be referring to: they rhyme with the shwar in shiraq and shneconomic shrisis. And the more votes we have towards a person who you think can help ease the... tension shall we say, the better.

Alright thats a lot to mull over for the very few people who may have actually read this. Until then , keep on rockin in the free world.
